Genuine leather, floor-length, black — the kind of black that holds its grain in the light instead of flattening into a silhouette.

Double-breasted, closed with mother-of-pearl buttons. The belt is not decoration: it draws the coat in at the waist and lets the rest fall as weight, not as shape. The back is gathered at the waist seam, so the skirt of the coat swings away from the body when you walk. Long sleeves, buttoned cuffs, welt pockets set into the seam.

Grainy semi-matte leather, unpolished. It is meant to mark with wear — the coat should end up older than you.

The first piece of ☿ MMXXVI. Italian leather, cut in Poland. Each colour comes from a single delivery — when the hides are gone, the silhouette closes.
