The Atelier
Noun Perspective is an independent atelier based in Berlin. We make garments in finite runs — cut, seamed and finished by hand in Poland, and named only when complete.
The capsules
Each capsule carries a celestial mark and a Roman year: ♃ MMXVII, ☉ MMXIX, ♄ MMXXI, ☽ MMXXIII, ♂ MMXXIV, ♀ MMXXV, ☿ MMXXVI. A capsule is not a season. It is a fixed point — a form we return to, and refuse to repeat.
The fabric comes first
Italian jacquard woven in the Como region on looms unchanged since 1801. Crinoline tulle that holds its own structure without interfacing. Toile de jouy from a Loire valley mill. Leather in colours the Romans had names for. We do not design around fabric — we listen to it.
Nine hands
Every piece passes through nine hands before it is named complete. A run ends when the roll ends — and when the last piece is gone, the capsule closes.
